Terms of Use

These plain-language terms apply to Curio's public demos and pilot learning workspaces.

Last updated July 31, 2026

Using Curio

You may use the public demos to evaluate Curio with sample data. Access to real courses or student information requires Curio and, where applicable, school approval. Keep your account secure, provide accurate registration information, and use only the role and courses you are authorized to access.

Responsible learning

Curio is designed to support learning, not to complete assigned work. Do not use the service to cheat, impersonate someone, access another person's information, disrupt the service, upload unlawful or harmful material, or bypass technical or instructional safeguards. Schools and educators remain responsible for assignments, instruction, grading, and student support.

AI-assisted guidance

AI output can be incomplete or incorrect. Students should check guidance against course materials and ask an educator when uncertain. Educators should apply professional judgment before relying on generated insights or lesson suggestions. Curio is not an emergency, medical, legal, or mental-health service.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you are entitled to submit. You give Curio permission to host, process, and display that content only as needed to operate, maintain, and secure the service for you and your school. Do not upload material you do not have permission to use.

Availability and access

Pilot and demo features may change and may occasionally be unavailable. Curio may limit or suspend access to protect users, comply with law or school instructions, address misuse, or maintain the service. A school may also direct Curio to change or end access to its courses and related records.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, Curio is provided as available without guarantees that every feature or AI response will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular educational decision. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

Questions and changes

Contact Curio before using the product if these terms conflict with your school's requirements. We may update these terms as the service develops and will revise the date above when we make a material change.
